Terms and Conditions relating to your move


  • We don't personally enjoy trawling through a load of terms and conditions that no one reads, and leaves you totally confused. We have tried, therefore to cover most of the eventualities that happen here in plain English:

Personal Service

  • We always have an appointed Move Director who will always see your move through from start to finish.


Waiting Time 

  • On all of our quotations we have allowed up to an hour of waiting time at your new home, in case of a delay with completion, funds not arriving or a solicitor being out to lunch. After this time we will charge a total of £100 per hour for our team, fully inclusive. If the delay is beyond four hours, and an overnight stay is being considered we would discuss this with you first. If it is any comfort, only around 2% of our removals incur a delay of any kind.

Disassembly and Reassembly

  • Unless otherwise made clear in our quote, disassembly of any furniture, disconnecting of any white goods or other items (and reassembly at the other end) will attract an extra charge of £100 per hour.
  • Some items of furniture are really not made to be taken apart, even once. This is mainly flat pack type furniture including items with particle board backs, that merely collapse when they are ready for re-assembling. Regrettably, these items are dismantled and re-assembled at your own risk.

Packing and Unpacking

  • It may be that we have packed everything for you. If not, then we would normally expect all items to be boxed and packed ready for loading. We will wrap any delicate furniture with professional removal blankets. Please disconnect white goods, drain washing machines, and unplug televisions etc.
  • Boxes should be marked for their unload location at your new home. We will unload all goods, but not unpack them, unless prearranged. Unpacking incurs an additional charge of £100 per hour.

Payment

  • In line with most removal companies we require payment in full prior to the removal day.
  • We take payments through BACS normal timed bank transfer, or cash.
  • We cannot take payment via cheque or credit card.


General

  • We arrive as a team
  • We clearly indicate the Move Director of the day, who will be in charge of the team and logistics
  • We will protect entrances and exits with professional carpet protectors
  • All items will be carefully conveyed to our vehicles
  • We carry full public liability insurance
  • Your personal goods are always insured when they are with our transport
  • We will always keep you informed if our schedule changes for any reason
  • To comply with our insurance terms and conditions, all losses and breakages

         must be reported within 72 hours of our staff leaving your property.
